Ciudad Mante is located south of the state to 158 km northwest ofTampico. Bordered on the north by the municipality of Gomez Fariasand the Municipality of Xicotencatl. south borders the state of SanLuis Potosi. Is the eastern boundary of the town of Gonzalez and west by the municipalities of Ocampo and Antiguo Morelos. It is locatedbetween parallels 22 º 44 'north latitude and 98 º 58' west longitudeat an altitude of 80 m.
